# Werksign

> Time you can stand behind. Werksign replaces paper sheets, spreadsheets and “trust me” with a timeline both sides can rely on: employees see what was recorded, managers approve what changed, and an auditor can see why.

Werksign is time and attendance software for companies of 5 to 5,000 people, in any country. It runs in the browser on any phone or computer; there is nothing to install.

## What it does

- Clock in and out in one tap, with breaks, notes and the site you are at.
- Managers see who is in right now, site by site: working, on a break or finished.
- Employees ask for a fix when a record is wrong, and for time off; managers approve or decline.
- Optional proof of presence, set per company to Off, Warn or Block: the site’s geofence, the office network, or an enrolled device. Location is read only at the moment of a clock-in, never in the background.
- Time records are append-only with the server’s time; corrections are new entries a manager approves, and every change is in an audit trail.
- Reports and payroll-ready exports (CSV, PDF); months can be locked once payroll is done.

## What Werksign does not do

- No pay calculation: it exports hours, overtime and absences to your payroll system.
- No covert tracking, no background location, no MAC addresses, no biometrics.
- No legal guarantees: working-time rules are a starting point; each company owns its configuration.

Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Werksign is operated by Adhocplus Data Ltd.

## FAQ

- Do employees need an app? No. Werksign works in the browser on any phone. Add it to the home screen and it opens like an app.
- What if someone forgets to clock out? Shifts left open for too long close automatically and are flagged. The employee can then ask for a fix, and a manager approves it.
- Can managers see where people are? Only at the moment of a clock-in, and only if your company turns the location check on. Nothing is read in the background.
- Does it work for several sites? Yes. Employees choose their site when they clock in, and managers see who is in site by site.
- How does billing work? You pay €2.99 per active employee per month: anyone with a punch or an absence that month. The first 7 days are a free trial.
- Where is data stored? In the EU, in Frankfurt.
