Werksign

Terms of service

Last updated 16 October 2026

The short version. You pay €2.99 for each employee who uses Werksign in a month, your data stays yours, you can leave whenever you like, and you remain responsible for how your company records working time.

1. The agreement

These terms are between Adhocplus Data Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria that runs Werksign (“we”), and the company that signs up (“you”). Whoever signs up confirms they may agree to them for the company. Using Werksign means accepting these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Accounts and people

You decide who joins your company in Werksign and what each person may do. Keep sign-in emails secure, remove people who leave, and tell us if you suspect someone has access who should not. People who own or run a company account must be 18 or older.

3. Fair use

Use Werksign for your own business. Do not break the law with it, try to get into other companies’ data, overload or reverse engineer the service, resell it, or use it to monitor people in ways the law does not allow.

4. Your data

Everything your company records stays yours. You are the controller of your staff’s data: you tell them what is recorded and have a lawful basis for it, including for presence checks. We process it only to provide Werksign, as described in the privacy policy. A data processing agreement is available on request.

5. Working-time rules

Werksign’s rules, flags and reports are a starting point, not legal advice. You set them up for your company and remain responsible for meeting the law where you operate.

6. Price and payment

7. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time; we stop billing after the month in which you cancel. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, a serious breach of these terms, unlawful use, or when the law requires it, and will tell you why. After an account closes you have 30 days to export your data; then it is deleted, and backups rotate out shortly after.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep Werksign fast and available, but provide it “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We post changes on this page and email account owners about material ones before they take effect. Continuing to use Werksign after that means you accept them.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are settled by arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Mediation Act, in English, though either side may ask a court for urgent relief. Rights you have under mandatory local law are not affected.
